The completely dominant story was the race for President. Obama v. Hillary, McCain & Palin, all ending in an historic election. Something I was very proud to volunteer and be a tiny part of.
Sports:
The Dodgers finish 84-78, but win the division and their first playoff series in 20 years. Get crushed by the Phils in the NLCS, but it was a fun ride. Cowboys fade again down the stretch, going 9-7 and narrowly missing the playoffs. I work for the Wilmington Blue Rocks, getting a taste of the playoffs, though we are quickly eliminated by my former team the Potomac Nationals.
