News:
Not a lot of big news this year. Lobbyist Jack Abrahamoff is sentenced to 6 years for fraud. And on a personal note, I got engaged.

Sports:
The only year this decade that the Dodgers and Cowboys both make the playoffs (hopefully that changes in '09!). Dodgers sport an 88-74 record, and the Cowboys go 9-7. Both are eliminated in the first round.

New MLB Stadiums Seen: 5 (Denver, Houston, Texas, Detroit, and Cincy). Also start the minor league tour in earnest.
